Vila Petra - Albufeira

Spacious apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and daily cleaning. The pool area was fantastic, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from the strip.

The staff were friendly efficient, and the services were good.

the high quality of the apartments and hotel facilities. the location was excellent also. the beach is a long walk, however a bus takes you there and collects you again and a tourist train which costs 2euro can take you to the old town.

The staff at reception were not very welcoming or grateful for our stay when we were leaving. Also, the manager of the restaurant had an aura that he had done nothing wrong when the food took an hour and a half to arrive. He failed to apologise until the very end.

Should you go for it? My answer

After an enchanting week, I can definitively say yes! Everything was super clean with an attentive entertainment team, the spacious poolside apartments had every convenience. The no-reservation sunbed policy was a breath of fresh air. A short stroll to both the vibrant strip and Old Town makes this place perfect for families. Highly recommend!

The location was quiet: a market and different stores were within walking distance. The hotel was in a very very nice area. The restaurant was very pleasant for breakfast and with a quiet atmosphere.

We liked the location as it was walking distance to many places but a lovely peaceful area. The Vila Petra was very clean and well kept and staff were pleasant. The pools and garden were gorgeous and just a perfect place for families with young children.

We loved our spacious two-bedroom apartment with a lovely pool view and found the indoor pool and spa treatments really relaxing. The only drawback was that the bar by the pool opened a bit late and closed early, a bit inconvenient. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend bringing some snacks for the room 🌟

I liked the sport facilities that you have on site! I think your rooms are spacious!

Cold water in the pool

Huge apartment and two bathrooms (this is great). Many, many services/facilities (pools, playgrounds, gym,...). Very nice balcony were meals can be had.

No style. Beds are quite uncomfortable. At least one of the bedrooms could have a double bed instead of two twins.

A Wonderful Family Getaway

We enjoyed a fantastic week in a two-bedroom apartment. The cleaning staff were great, leaving our room super clean. Engaging activities like aqua aerobics kept the kids entertained while we relaxed by the pool. Don't miss the Stone Bar for good cocktails!

Apartment was very nice - clean and spacious. Location is excellent. Found staff very helpful - E.G. needed extra pillows, and this was not a problem. We apologised to staff at reception as we felt we were using them as a tourist information service, but the gentleman there said it was no problem at all, and they were quite used to guests asking them for directions etc. The mini market was very handy at the Vila Petra. The pool is lovely, and it is great that there is no charge for sunbeds. We got clean towels every day, and the sheets were changed also during our 1 week stay. No charge either for remotes for air con. We would highly recommend Vila Petra.

Great location close to the strip but not too close that noise at night was an issue. The facilities were excellent, no problem getting a bed at the pool, decent gym. Spin class was excellent and the staff were more than helpful. The rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff were excellent at keeping this so during our stay. The kitchen was well kitted out with all the items you would like to find but are not always there in other places. All in all an excellent holiday in a great hotel.

Location is great, with the strip and Old Town just a short walk away. The phone at the snack bar felt overpriced, and service could be slow during peak hours.

The hotel was fantastic. The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly and they have a great pool and bar too. The location is also great if you are wanting to go down the strip. The old town is better though in my opinion, and it was a short 5 min taxi drive, costing around 4 euros to get there.
